Lists of Top 5
Top 5 Must Have Weapons
1.Firelance-A unique version of the Alien Blaster with Fire damage! Two of my most favorite things! This weapon can't be obtained regularly like the Alien Blaster. It can be obtained through a random event which involves witnessing a UFO blow up in the sky. In that very area you'll find Alien Power Cells scattered around. Among them should be The Firelance. If you have the Pyromaniac perk it should boost the damage of this mighty gun by 20-40 points.
2.Vengance-This gun is a unique version of the Gatling Laser. It could be found in the Deathclaw Sanctuary. Trust me guys, you don't won't to go in there on a low level. When you go in there you should be on level 11 or 14 before fighting a cave of these evil baddies. Venture deep into the cave and you'll find a pool of blood and lots of guts and skeletons. In the middle should be VENGANCE!! Its time get the VENGANCE that pile of dead stuff needs, literally! But, sometimes it won't be there which is either a glitch or this to results in a random encounter inside the cave.
3.Alien Blaster-You can find this sweet sweet gismo at an Alien Crash Site, it deosn't show up once you find it.The Crash Site is between MDPL-13 Power Station and Greener Pastures Disposal Site. You'll pick up a signal called Recon Craft Theta Signal. The signal should get louder as you get closer to the crash site. At the cockpit (ha ha yes "cock" pit, laugh it up) the glass is shattered. The Alien driver should be there with the Alien Blaster next to him along with 120 Alien Power Cells. Savor the ammo and only use it in case you're going up against 3 Deathclaws.
4.Super Sledge-One of Fallout's most bad-ass melee weapons. You'll find this little goodie on Super Mutant Masters usually. It can also be found in Vault 87 but I recommend staying away from that place. Super Mutants galore along with barricades, missile launchers, grenades, and a whole lotta rewards and EXP points after clearing it out.
5.Fat Man-Firing mini-nukes at people you don't like has never been more fun! Especially killing a Super Mutant Behemoth and stealing his loot. And thus the Fat Man has earned its place on my list as one of the Top 5 Weapons in Fallout 3
Top 5 Must Have Perks
1.Nuclear Anomaly- Although you can only get it after reaching level 30 via downloading the Broken Steel expansion pack for 800 microsoft points is approximately 10 bucks to spend at GameStop. Whenever your health goes below 20 points your character erupts into a Nuclear Blast! No it won't kill you or blow a continent off the Earth. But it does come in handy some times.
2.Puppies!-Once again this perk is only available via downloading Broken Steel. Whenever Dogmeat dies he respawns as a new dog called Dogmeat's Puppy! Awww! Ain't Puppy love grand? Dogmeat's Puppy will respawn where Dogmeat dies. He'll have twice the health and twice the attack points!
3.Bloody Mess-Who doesn't gut-strewn violence? When someone's about to die or when you get a critical hit the enemy will explode into a literal "bloody mess" hence the name.
4.Cyborg-Reminds of my days when I watched Teen Titans on Cartoon Network. Anyway this perk boosts your Energy Weapons skills up by 10 points and boosts your damage, poison, and radiation resistances by 10%. It works since the best weapons are energy based.
5.Commando-This perk is pretty decent if you favor 2 handed weaponry. I sure as hell do! It boosts your skills with two-handed weapons accuracy in V.A.T.S.
Top 5 Deadliest Enemies
1.Enclave Sigma Squad Leader and Sigma Squad-Dressed head to toe in Enclave Hellfire Armor and the strength of two deathclaws these tough bastards attack in a squad. Be wary of the Heavy Incinerator some of them carry.
2.Super Mutant Behemoth-Now the Behemoth truly is a creature more terrifying than a deathclaw. Don't go toe to toe with these dudes. Stay away and try killing them with the Fat Man or Grenades.
3.Deathclaws-These guys can kick your ass if they sneak up on you. These guys prefer hunting alone, the only places where they attack in groups are the Deathclaw Sanctuary and Old Olney.
4.Enclave Soldier(w/Tesla Armor)-These guy's command small squadrons of 3. They usually carry Plasma weaponry, missile launchers, and Gatling Lasers. Don't get cocky(ha ha laugh it up some more) just because you're such a bad-ass, they can still give you a serious beat down if they catch you off guard,
5.Yao-Guai-Killer instinct mixed into a powerful leap attack is what Yoa-Guai are all about. These aren't all too challenging on levels above 5 and 7.
Top 5 Must Have Following You Followers
1.Fawkes-He's the best gatling laser wielding super mutant buddy you can have around! That and he's Near-Invincible, I shot him with the Fat-Man 5 times and he wouldn't die! You'll find this dude in Vault 87. You'll need to set off the Vault Fire Alarm to free him from his Prison Cell. He repay you by beating the shit out of all the Super Mutants in your way of retrieving the G.E.C.K. He leaves you afterwards but comes back to help you when you exit Raven Rock and kills the Squad of Soldiers outside. You need Good Karma for him to follow you. If you fire him he'll be at the entrance of Underworld in the Museum of History.
2.Star Paladin Cross-Cross can come in handy sometimes when fighting Raiders and Enclave Soldiers. You can find her in the Citadel Laboratory. She wields a Super Sledge and a Laser Pistol. You need Good Karma for her to follow you.
3.Dogmeats Puppy- That adorable little guy can come in handy when fighting the average Enclave Soldier and Mirelurks. That and he's got Twice the health and attack points that the old Dogmeat has. Your Karma can be whatever and he'll still be loyal.
3.Sergeant RL-3-This patriotic Mister Gutsy robot comes with a plasma gun and a flame thrower. You can find him following Tinker Joe around The Robco. Factory parking lot. He usually has the funny catch phrase "Another glorious day in this man's army". He has his moments. You need Neutral Karma for him to follow you.
4.Jericho-This washed up old raider carries a baseball bat and an assault rifle on him. You need Evil Karma and 1000 caps for him to follow you.
5.Butch-Your childhood bully can be found in Rivet City's bar, The Muddy Rudder. He carries a switchblade and a 10mm pistol which is widely useless. Its recommended you give him a gun and better armor.
